I have been training with Steve now for 5 years and for 3 of those years as part of the Keynsham Ladies Running Group. When I first started with the running group I could not run even 1k without the need to stop from exhaustion and then 2 years down the line with Steve’s fantastic coaching and the Keynsham Ladies running Group, I ran my first half marathon and got my first PB of 1 hr 56 and for me it is such an amazing achievement. I now train with Steve twice a week with the Keynsham Ladies and also take part in other Boot camp sessions that Steve has run over the course of the summer. I very rarely miss any training sessions as feel like I am missing out as the Keynsham ladies are not just a running group we have also built friendships with each other and we all socialise outside of the running sessions and that is such a big part of our Group we not only enjoy the running but each other’s company and this means we look forward to training in more ways than one!! - H Panter

Weight loss is the main purpose of me using the gym and until Steve wrote my programmes I spent 9 months not achieving any weight loss. His persuasive personality motivated me to booking in for a review with him where he quickly ascertained my goals. He also spent time listening about and assessing my level of fitness. The 3 programmes that Steve has written for me have certainly aided my weight loss, Steve has set me challenging programmes which he knows are achievable and he is always open to adapting them further to individual needs.

 

Steve always maintains a level of professionalism in a relaxed manner and is open and friendly to everyone that uses the gym. He continues to motivate and encourage those that he writes programmes for. He is able to adapt his style of instruction for people with differing needs and I have noticed that he is equally as encouraging with the older people in the gym and also those with special needs.

 

Steve is obviously a fit and motivated individual with high personal standards and aims and it is great that he expects the same from his clients in the gym and equally as great that he manages to do so without being too pushy and intense. - R Coleman

I was delighted to be asked to write a report on Stephen Beere because I was impressed by his personality and easy confidence when I first started the Passport To Health Course. He carried out an efficient introduction to the Gym and left the novice feeling both observed and confident to progress. I have noticed that he keeps a watch on people with particular problems. Stephen presented an excellent Lifestyle Motivation Course, full of useful information and enjoyed by all.

I began with 2 visits a week. Due entirely to Steve’s encouragement and way of organising things, I now attend 5-7 times a week, and since I started I have lost nearly 3½ stone in weight, and I owe it all to Steve as I know I would never of kept going to gym.

More importantly for me, at the beginning I was suffering from depression after having a baby and taking medication for it. Now that is all in the past, and I am quite certain that the reason I now feel confident, optimistic and good about myself is that Steve Beere has guided my keep fit programme into a new lifestyle approach for me.
